KARACHI: The 2nd edition of the World CIO Summit & Awards 2025 – Pakistan Edition is scheduled to be held on August 23, Saturday at a local hotel in Karachi.
Federal Secretary IT Zarrar Hasham Khan will be the chief guest of the event and CEO Pakistan Software Export Board Abu Bakar will be guest of honor. Over 50 CIOs of Pakistan’s top companies will be recognized with awards for their contribution to the industry and the country alike.
The event is being hosted by ITCN Asia under the leadership of Muhammad Umair Nizam, with the strategic guidance of Dr. Erdal Ozkaya and Syed Abdul Qadir.
Muhammad Umair Nizam, Vice President Ecommerce Gateway Pvt Limited and Project Director ITCN Asia said that the event is celebrated with a clear mission to recognize Pakistan’s most influential digital leaders, inspire the innovators of tomorrow, and position the country firmly on the global technology map.
Syed Abdul Qadir, the Co-Organizer of the event, stated that the summit builds on last year’s success, where over 600 professionals came together to share ideas, spark collaborations, and celebrate excellence. Now nearly 800 professionals are set to participate in the event carrying the theme “Dawn of a New Decade.”
