Karachi, August 03, 2023 – Highlighting inner turmoil and frustrations, and echoing that occasional feeling of loneliness and isolation, “Nahin Milta” by Pakistani alt-rock band Bayaan is resonating strongly with audiences catapulting the tale-of-life song to No.1 in Daily Top Songs in Pakistan, No. 5 in Weekly Top Pakistani songs and No.18 on Spotify Charts this week.

In the last 28 days, streams for the song have gone up by 409% while also witnessing a 10% rise over the week that just went by. In addition, “Nahin Milta” has made it to some of the leading playlists of Spotify including Desi Hits, Pakka Hit Hai, Desi Indie and several others. It is also on the cover of Hot Hits Pakistan shedding light on just how popular it has become with listeners on the music streaming platform.

This rediscovery of “Nahin Milta”, that was originally released in 2015, happened recently after the track was used by a social media user, a doctor by profession, in his video depicting how love is the medicine that cures all. Soon after, the song became the hottest trend online, making it one of the most preferred music for reels showcasing daily hardships of working-class fathers, husbands, brothers, and sons, and is currently trending as the preferred music for reels depicting sad situations, heart break, or loneliness.

With India, Pakistan, and the U.S. ranking as the top three countries where listeners are streaming the track, Bayaan’s yearly streamers have shown exceptional growth in their numbers. Hailing from Lahore, Bayaan is widely recognized for winning one of the biggest musical talent competitions in Pakistan back in 2018.
