BEIJING, Sep 24 : A welcoming ceremony for Pakistan’s delegation to the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China was held at the Asian Games Village here on Friday (September 22).
Pakistan has sent more than 260 athletes to this year’s Games. Hockey, cricket and kabaddi have been some of the most successful medal events for Pakistan in the past, CGTN reported on Sunday.
This edition of 19th Asian Games is set to be the largest ever, with around 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and regions competing in 40 sports, 61 disciplines, and 481 events.
