Spotify and FC Barcelona have teamed up with Tyler, The Creator and GOLF WANG on a collection, visual and event, all driven by Tyler’s singular, imaginative vision.
For the first time in the Spotify x FC Barcelona partnership, the artist has full creative control. Tyler, The Creator, musician, designer, and one of the most distinctive creative forces in contemporary culture, is the latest artist to take over the front of the FC Barcelona jersey, with his GOLF logo worn by the team for El Clásico on October 25 at Spotify Camp Nou.
Unlike any jersey takeover before it, this is a fully curated campaign – from the visual, directed by Tyler himself, to the design of an exclusive Spotify x GOLF WANG x FC Barcelona collection. Tyler has had a hand in every element of the work. Rooted in GOLF WANG’s signature aesthetic – bold colour, considered craft, and a distinctly irreverent take on sportswear – the collection moves well beyond the jersey into a full lifestyle offering, headlined by a Letterman Jacket, Track Jacket and long and short sleeve retro jerseys.

On October 24, Spotify will host Copa De Golf, a night in Barcelona merging music, football and fashion to celebrate the Spotify x GOLF WANG x FC Barcelona collaboration. The programming will bring together talent connected to GOLF WANG’s creative world with Barcelona’s local scene. Yung Taco will anchor the night with a headline DJ set, supported by Bexnil, Alu Nuenga, Duna and Mushka – a curated selection of emerging artists rooted in the city’s music and creative scene.
Marc Hazan, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Partnerships, Spotify, said: “Every jersey takeover we’ve done has pushed us somewhere new, but this one feels different. Tyler brings a distinct creative world to the collaboration, extending far beyond the jersey. From the campaign visuals and collection to the immersive event in Barcelona, every element is rooted in GOLF WANG’s brand world, making this one of our most exciting collaborations with FC Barcelona yet.”
“There are few stages in the world bigger than El Clásico. To see GOLF WANG alongside iconic global brands FC Barcelona and Spotify sets a new benchmark for collaboration across sports, music and fashion, bringing the worlds of football and fashion together in a way that feels truly unique to GOLF WANG.” GOLF WANG, on the partnership.
Joan Soler, FC Barcelona Vice President, Commercial, said: “The collaboration between FC Barcelona and Spotify continues to forge new connections between football, music and contemporary culture. With Tyler, The Creator featured on the Clásico shirt, we are building on an initiative that has become part of the anticipation surrounding this match and enables us to reach audiences around the world. This latest activation further strengthens the unique nature of our partnership with Spotify and highlights the power of music and football to bring people together.”

The GOLF WANG collection includes a Letterman Jacket, Track Jacket, Zip Hoodie, Track Pants, Soccer Shorts, long and short sleeve jerseys, and three T-shirt styles including the GOL!!F graphic tee. Accessories span a Scarf, Skully, Socks, Nalgene bottle, Soccer Ball, Pin and Stickers. The palette runs through Brown, Teal, Burgundy, Blue, Black and White, with each piece featuring FC Barcelona x GOLF WANG co-branding. Drawing inspiration from the club’s founding year, 1,899 limited-edition jerseys will also be available. The collection goes on sale October 15 at GOLF stores in Los Angeles, New York City, Tokyo, Sydney and London, and online at golfwang.com. The collection will also be available in Barça Official Stores in Spain and online.
What’s more, the El Clásico kit will also become part of the gaming world from 23 October. The Barça jersey featuring the GOLF logo will be available in the KONAMI eFootball™ game, allowing gamers to choose the kit for their matches.
The GOLF logo will feature on the FC Barcelona jersey, which will be worn for the El Clásico match against Real Madrid on October 25. FC Barcelona Femení will also be wearing the jersey for their match on October 24. For information about the partnership, you can read more here and check out the FC Barcelona hub on Spotify.
